Through our network of industry contacts, Smith Global is able to identify suitable manufacturers to build complete products or components designed either by Smith Global or by others.

We have previously been engaged to do this in countries such as Australia, India, China, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. We do this by visiting the factory and assessing their strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and equipment and providing recommendations back to our client as to the most suitable manufacturer for the task, giving consideration to location, cost, reliability and quality.

Where necessary, we can also assist these manufacturers with developing process improvements so as to ensure a satisfactory quality-assured result for our client.

For products designed by Smith Global, we are also able to oversee the manufacture to ensure adherence to the design and can assist with the creation of quality checks and the design of manufacturing jigs

We also have experience in auditing the manufacturing processes and the finished products both in a regular and random-sample manner and are able to ensure compliance with requirements and protocols.
